Eleftherios Trivizakis

PhD Candidate, member of CBML, FORTH


Eleftherios Trivizakis received his bachelor’s and master’s degree after studying at the Department of Informatics Engineering, Hellenic Mediterranean University. Currently, he is a PhD candidate with topic related to Deep Learning in Medicine at the University of Crete. Eleftherios does research funded by the Foundation of Research and Technology, Hellas as a member of Computational BioMedicine Laboratory in Data & Image Analysis, Deep Neural Networks, Computation Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence. His publications include: ‘A novel multi-kernel 1D convolutional neural network for stress recognition from ECG’ and ‘Extending 2D Convolutional Neural Networks to 3D for Advancing Deep Learning Cancer Classification with application to MRI Liver Tumor Differentiation’.


Deep Learning in Bioinformatics

A fun and cringy overview of deep learning in medical image and biosignal analytics. In this session we will discuss current trends and how to develop an end-to-end and fully automatic data analysis pipeline.
