George Alexakis

George Alexakis is a Civil Engineer and holds an M.Sc., in Planning, from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

He is in charge of European and International Affairs at the Regional Authority of Crete. He is also the Vice President of CPMR-CRPM, responsible for Maritime Affairs.

He has a long experience in the field of Town Planning, Spatial Planning, Environment, Urban and Regional Economy and Local Government in the EU environment and since 1994 he is being elected to the Prefecture Authority of Heraklion and later to the Region of Crete.
